“I chose a square freshwater pearl specifically because it's unexpected — most pearl necklaces use round ones, and the square shape sits differently against the collarbone.”

Notes from the founder:
"Brooches are the oldest form of decorative jewellery we know of — older than earrings, older than necklaces. I wanted to make one that felt like it had a reason to exist beyond looking nice. The dragonfly is about transformation, and a brooch worn over the chest is about making that statement loud and clear."
