The lore: "The dragonfly is one of the oldest creatures on earth — fossils date back 300 million years, long before the dinosaurs. Across Japanese culture it is called kachi-mushi, the victory insect, worn by samurai as a symbol of agility and invincibility. In India, the dragonfly appears in poetry as a symbol of transformation and the lightness that follows letting go. Every culture that has ever watched one hover has felt the same thing: something ancient, something free, something that knows exactly where it is going even when it appears perfectly still"
