Founder / Designer - Foramour
Meet Nitika
She loves creating jewellery from the beautiful elements that already exist: pearls, crystals, shells, clasps and travel finds. And of course, the stories people bring to them.
"How can I make something beautiful out of this?"
A keen eye
Spotting what will work
Exhibition stalls, artisan workshops, the forgotten corners of old jewellery boxes: she can’t walk past a pearl, a shell or a clasp without getting ideas on what it could become.
Some finds wait in her drawers for years before their moment arrives. That’s the treasure hunt she loves most: spotting beauty in things, giving them a second life.
Every drawer is a story in waiting .

The process behind the design
A deeply tactile, experience-first approach
She does not sketch designs on paper. She thinks through her designs with her hands and her instinct: picking up a pearl, feeling its weight, holding it against an ear hook. So she knows exactly how a piece will sit, how heavy it will feel, and whether you’ll actually reach for it every morning.
Foramour began during a difficult season, as a way to keep someone she loved busy and hopeful. It became her calling. Before jewellery there were years in corporates, a skincare subscription box and a run of sustainability projects. Each left her with something she carried into the next, which is more or less how she makes jewellery too.
“Nobody gets a fresh start. We become who we are from what we inherit, what we pick up along the way, and what we choose to keep. I design my jewellery the same way.”

Inside the studio
The studio wall
Old photographs, a vintage handbag, gift tags, a handful of buttons. Everything pinned to the wall behind Nitika’s desk is a clue to what comes next.
Little things, endless stories.
