While the plating on your Foramour jewellery is durable and we give 1 year warranty, if you take care of your jewellery, you can keep it looking as good as new for years.

1. Rinse with fresh water after swimming in the salt / chlorinated water to remove salt and chemicals.
2. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
3. Apply lotions and perfumes before putting on your jewelry.

Underneath the gold layer, we use 2 kinds of base metals, depending on the designs:

• For minimalist and simple geometric designs, we use 316L Stainless Steel, famously medical grade and food safe. Surgical implants, pharma and food processing equipment are made of it - because of its excellent corrosion/tarnish resistance and strength.
• For very intricate designs, with stone setting for example, we use Brass as the base. Brass is very malleable/workable, and has excellent affinity to plating.
